To avoid any anxiety about trying on swimsuits, the Albertine team has a few tips to help you to choose the suits that will be most flattering to your figure !

If you are :

Smaller up top

You are lucky, because you can get away with any shape of swimsuit: triangle, demi-cup, bandeau, etc. You may want to opt for tops with flounces, smocks or fringes, which give the appearance of added volume. Have fun with mismatched solid and print bikinis that will give you a lovely visual effect.

Rounder in the bottom

If you have a rounder backside or hips, slightly high-waisted bikini bottoms will look work for you, because they will emphasize your upper body. For a two-piece, consider choosing a larger size than normal for the bottom, to avoid any unsightly rolls at the waist. Highlight your cleavage by choosing a charming demi-cup or stretchy triangle top that will show off your chest.  For a one-piece, opt for shaping materials with low necklines that draw the eye to the chest.

Somewhat androgynous

To fill out thin hips or give extra shape to a slight waist, we recommend a bottom with flounces that will give you extra volume. But be careful of frilly bottoms, which could easily give off a “little girl” look. To avoid this, mix it with a simple, solid top. We also suggest one-piece swimsuits that are very low-cut in the front or back, which have the advantage of elongating your figure and adding a feminine touch.

Full-chested

Whether you want a bikini or a one-piece, we recommend models with an underwire that will provide your with the support that you need.
